well i found out an easier way to get the tie rod end out. all you have to do is hit the cast part that is connected to the tie rod end since you are going to replace it and that would save you some time using pullers and various tools but just be very careful that you do not hit the boot of the tie rod end or not unless you are going to replace it then give her hell. i also used a fork to remove my ball joint and wacked it a few times and came off with ease. and also you do not have to take the whole caliper and bracket off to swap the ball joint. i just took the caliper off and pushed the rotors to the side. it will save you some time taking one to many things loose. i won't be able to finish mine until tomorrow morning had to order a tie rod end as well. good write up on the diy lower ball joint replacement.

My alignment guy told me I need my lower ball joints replaced. He showed me the issue, I trust he's right, he's been aligning my car for the past year.
Question: He did not mention tie rods, only lower ball joints. Since LBJs will be replaced, should tie rods also be included as well? Or just go with his flow?
THANKS!!

Thanks Chenzo for this awesomely helpful step by step. You inspired me to stop paying out the #*s at the dealer and start getting greasy again. Only wish this inspiration had hit before I authorized that brake job! LoL I could have upgraded to Brembos for what they charged for OEM. You rock.
