just letting you know. My 98sc400 has kyb in the front and tokico in the rear from factory. So you can ride in my car, if u like the front better get kyb and if u like the rear better get tokico.

I'm also using Supra TT KYB AGX shocks mated with Eibach springs. Car rides considerably okay but the back seems a little stiff. I might need to change settings to see if it'll get any softer. AGX is not bad for the price though.

TT ride height
Kramer,
I did this and used Bilsteins and stock TT springs that were sacked. Stock TT springs in good shape are supposed to lower the SC400 1 inch. You can get springs made to and spec you choose and dial in the height and ride stiffness you desire. Talk to Mitsuguy.....he has them also and knows what spring rates you will need or can get you to the people that do.
Good luck....and I really like this setup.

Pole Position
imo tokico blues are too soft and totally ghey. i would bottom out if i hit a dip at moderate speed. this is with sc eibach springs. then i switched to tokico illumina, ride quality was much better even at the softest setting.
i've never used kyb before so i cant tell you which shocks are better, only that illumina's >blue
