Default Super noise when shifting

Hey guys, I havent been on this forum in a few years but I needed some answers and came to the trustworthy source.

I'm a long time Lexus owner of several diff models. I just bought an 01 IS300, and brought the car home a week ago. I've been traveling for all week and came home today and took the car out. When shifting from reverse to drive, there is a super loud noise in the brakes/suspension area. Same noise when going from Drive to reverse. Has anyone encountered in this , found a resolution? I did some searching in the forums, and found no answers.
All brakes and rotors are normal and new on the car. It's not lowered, and the noise wasnt there when I test drove it several times.

Moderators please help! I'm super scared suddenly, and am in super panic mode.

I'm on standby for any help!

Default Regarding popping sound when braking and gear change

I hope you don't mind me emailing you. I have just purchased a IS300 Sportcross. I have a similar problem as you have posted on the popping sound when you change gear from forward to reverse. Were you able to resolve your problem on your IS300? I had my brakes checked out by Toyota dealership prior to my purchase and they didn't find any problem. I didn't notice the problem till I brought the car. The brakes on my IS300 does not make a popping sound all the time when I brake, it only does it when I change it from reverse to forward or if I am on the freeway on a grade downhill and I am braking every 5 seconds. Any response from you on how how you resolved the popping sound from when you brake would be appreciated.

Is it like a clicking sort of noise that happens maybe once or twice? These vehicles have issues with the brake pads shifting in the hardware typically exhibiting itsself when shifting direction of vehicle. I know it's loud but won't cause you any issues with braking. When you see your dealer they will likely suggest either replacing the brake hardware/pads or maybe just lubricating the hardware.
