not sure how thick the pads were, but it was about time for replacement. i never replaced the brake fluid since i purchased the car in 5/2006, 40,000 miles ago. the pedal starts to feel stiff when i press it about 10% of the way down. i would compare it to the feel of the pedal when you pump your brakes when the car is off...

Yes, those are the right sizes for the 350. I fixed the links in my previous posts to reflect Summit's new site.

Hey all, I tried to install 280025ERL on the rear of the wife IS250 and it wasn't able to properly seat. The factory rear bleeder uses a 10mm wrench and the 280025ERL uses an 8mm wrench. When I tightened the 280025ERL down it never felt seated and almost felt like I was going to strip the threads. I don't know if others have experienced this

Tried this last night on my IS350. IMHO the 280025ERL is a poor fit for the rear brakes. Tightened to a reasonable level (below stripping / snapping force) it didn't make a good seal (fluid slowly seeping up the threads). Maybe it could have sealed with more force it seemed risky for such a small valve. It is also considerably shorter / smaller than the stock bleeder. I put the stock rear bleeders back in.
