there are a number of threads on this topic. I would suggest searching. Your decision depends totally on your drop desires (ride height and driving characteristics).
You can use your knowledge of Supra springs since the shock/spring combo from a Supra is cross compatible with the SC, except that you should expect ~1/2" more drop on the SC than the advertised Supra drops.
If you want to mount lowering springs on your stock shocks, it is not recommended, but Eibach and Tanabe offer conservative drops while Espelir makes springs that eliminate all wheel gap. Those springs all go very well with Tokico HP (Blue) shocks that are an OEM replacement for the SC.
How low do you want to go? Do you want to keep it comfortable or stiffen up the chassis?
