heres the thing.. i was planing to get air runner but my friend who works at a "vip mod shop" if you can call it that says that after 2 or 3 years you start getting problems with the shocks..

as for the ride it feels great.. not sure on an IS but the GS is close enough..!!

OP, I think this is what you're looking for:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=274370

I don't know how much a setup like that would cost, but it doesn't even look that nice, let alone practicality.

Sure, it looks nice, but have fun going to the shop everyday to fix your car and replace the front lip.
Whoever said that the shocks will blow out sooner, I would assume so.

I'm no technical guru, but with such low heights, they would really have to stiffen the suspension.

I'd just get lowering springs or coilovers and be happy with that...just my thoughts.

you realize that isnt the driving height right? The car cant even turn at that height. You raise the car up via the airrunners at a height that is easy to negotiate the streets

If you are looking at airrunners then yes. I am sure there are other kits out there that are cheaper but wont have the performance of the airrunner.

Um...what are you getting at?

I know I'm no genius when it comes to suspension systems.

But do you really have the need to feel that superior over me?

I hope you know better than to do that...

Back to the topic please.

from what i know the kit itself is about 4200 i dont even know if that includes shipping, and i hear that the install is a straight bolt-in to replace the spings and shocks as for the air compressor if you really want that sound and can get use to it coming on every sec or so.. i think it may get annoying but for some reason i still want them

I own a 98 GS400 with air runner suspension. I've has this kit roughly over a year already. I havent had any problems what so ever. The air runner set up is a straight bolt on just like changing out factory suspension to coilover suspension. The compressor really isnt as loud like those suv/ trucks with air, most of the time i dont even know its on. I would have to say that this is the best mod that I have ever done. The ride quality is great, it doesnt even feel like im on low profile tires. The ride is just like how i bought the car stock. I hope this information helps.
