Default Too low = No Alignment

Basically, i cant find a place to get an Alignment because the 12 places i've been to have told me that the car is too low to put on the machine. I been to Belle Tires where there is no ramp to drive up, still to low to mess with.

Am i just stuck with it or what could you guys suggest.

My mods are listed in my sig.

if you want to dive out here there is a shop in Palatine, IL that has there ramp build into the ground
1st shop i know in the state or maybe in the u.s. i got mine done there, i think it was $80 bucks for the 1st hr i ended up paying $1xx since they corrected my camber and alligment.

There are tons of alignment shops in CA that have underground bays, sort of like a Jiffy Lube. I would have to assume that you could find one locally.

damn, we don't even have an in ground alignment machine, but so long as a car has 2.5" clearance under the lower control arms, it's no issue on ours...

you just have some guys that don't want to work on your car... it's a pain in the *** on real low cars and you just haven't found anyone that wants to spend the extra time on the alignment...

I didn't say that Jiffy Lube does alignments, I said that many alignment shops in CA have underground alignment bays similar to those found at Jiffy Lube.

speaking about alignment..when you put larger Rims + new tires do you have to get it aligned again?

well, our vehicles have coil over shocks, so, changing them should not affect the alignment, so long as they are not sagging causing a low ride height...

wheels and tires do not necessarily need to have an alignment done, however if changing wheel widths and diameters, the numbers will change ever so slightly (not degrees, but mm in toe)... it wouldn't be a bad idea, but I also wouldn't sweat it if you do not get it aligned...

Bring some 4x6s with you, you can get onto any ramp with enough lumber!

I can show you in 3 easy steps how to set up your upper arms to correct too much negative camber-- you just need a bushing kit-- and some special work--
