if you are refering to my post about the $84 wheel that clears LS400 calipers and weighs 18lbs, go to the website of the TireRack and search wheels for a 2000 LS400. Limit your search to 16's and you will see the wheel of mention.

having studied the Walmart tire center sign on one occassion a few months ago, I recall the mounting running $5 per tire.

i use my borthers acura nsx spare its orange and collapses and stored unaired and comes with a air compressor that plugs into cig lighter both made by acura btw i always carry 2 of these it sux driving on 3 wheels that are 19"s
so i usually swap out 2 tires to even it out. 2 acura spares and a air compressor still lighter than our stock spare

You know the more I think about it, I weighed my fact. 16'' wheel and tire and it was around 42lbs, so a random 16'' cheapy aluminum wheel with stock tire wouldnt be much improvement.

Default spare replacement rim

Guys,

I have four 1995 LS400 stock rims of the 16 inch persuasion. They weigh 18 pounds each on my bathroom scale. I will sell them as a set for $120 or break them up for $40 each. That light enuf?

These are the pre 96 version and WILL NOT clear the big brake mod. They are in reasonably good shape for a rim but they are in spectacular shape for a spare in the boot.

PM me if you are interested.

John

Hey BLK13X, how about throwing that thing on a scale and telling us how much advantage over stock sc400 it is.

Default weight of rim

Over40,

I put the 1994 Lexus LS400 rims I have for sale on my bathroom scale and it said 18 pounds. I guess that would be comparable to aftermarket aluminum rims but it must be a lot lighter than the steele rims. There is a ton of difference in the weight of tires also, I know.

I'd love to if I had a scale hehe. All I can really say is that it does feel a lot lighter than a factory 16" wheel and tyre (Celsior/LS400 wheel).
