Default TT Suspension ?

i am planning on buying KYB AGX shocks made for the TT and Eibach springs for the TT, just wanted to know if this will work with the OEM SC strut mounts? also would you recommend changing the spring insulators with new ones? also does anyone know if the KYB AGX shocks come with new bump stops or will i have to reuse the OEM ones?

Yes, it doesnt matter, if you want to, and I dont think they do. I'd pick a different spring if I were putting in a TT suspension setup. If you're looking for that extra drop that is. Good luck!

my Swift springs are pretty forgiving at 9kg/4kg. I have the Tokico adjustable shocks. After some tweaking, I think I have optimized comfort and handling.

On the softest setting, the shocks will let me bottom out the suspension up front. On the stiffest setting, the tires are the sole supplier of dampening. I have it currently set at 3/5 all around: it will not bottom out even on big pot holes, but it rides forgiving at the same time.

They are not cheap, but they have my full recommendation. Their high build quality resists sagging and spring rate fade like the Eibachs will over time.

That all being said, I have no experience with any other set up. But, I must say I did not sacrifice much in the way of comfort from the stock suspension after the drop except that the car is much more controlled now.

The set up you are eyeing up will definitely work. I reused my stock suspension components that are younger than 70k miles with no ill effects.

That's my set up. It's a 2 inch drop, i got them with the supra TT strut mounts. The ride is not bad at all, i like the stance a lot.

hass do you have any rubbing issues with this set up? what setting on the shocks feels stock in comfort wise? was it a direct bolt on witht he TT mounts or are they pretty much the same as the SC ones?

I get rubbing only with severe pot holes and speed bumps, my front wheels don't tuck in front. Gives agressive wheels, they are 18x9 37 offset front 18x10 43 offset. I forgot what setting it's at. It's direct bolt on with the TT mounts. The stock TT mounted like it was meant for the SC.

you may want to revmove the plastic piece under the front wheel well. whats your offset? you may have to roll the rears. if you need to roll AMS does it for cheap, but the paint may crack alittle.
