i got them for $230 shipped, but it was a big hassle and that company no longer exists..they didnt even have them, they were on backorder, took them 5 weeks to get me my springs and they failed to mentioned the fact that they were out of stock. Pay the extra $20 for a site that has them in stock

I got my Espelir ASDs for $260 shipped. They were the first mod on my SC. Ive had them for about 3-4 years. Ive raced on them a couple times. The ride height is absolutely perfect. If paired with an adjustable shock you'd have a really sporty luxury car with a luxury sport car feel.

The Espelir springs are surprisingly good for the ride height, I had a set on my old Soarer. Only reason why I didn't put them on my current Soarer is because it drops it that little bit too much (I already have troubles going down my basement car park).

if anything upgrading shocks to more stiffer after market once will make it ride rougher.

our stock shocks are very sensitive to ride height adjustments. putting drop springs, especially espelirs, will drastically alter the intended stroke of your shocks thusly throwing ride quality out the window and thusly killing your shocks in blazingly fast time.

aftermarket shocks were much moreso intended to take drop springs. they will maintain their ride quality over a shorter stroke than the OEM shocks.

not only will putting the espelirs on your stock shocks ride very average but you will blow your shocks in record time.

have you experienced this yourself or its more he said type of thing? i have done many stock strut/aftermarket spring combos in the past with alot of sucess.
and exactly what is so special about the struts on the sc vs anyother car?
i guess we will see, my struts have been replaced recently on the SC so i will see how long they last, i'm going to be throwing them out anyway why not get the use out of them.
