no welding at all, just take out your suspension take the oem springs off, slid the coilover sleeves on then slide your oem bump stopper on, then your coilover springs, and then put your upper mounts on and install them back to your ride and that it no welding or hard work

Ive installed many like these. Ground Control is a good one. They use Eibach springs, ...which usually have a real nice ride.

You pull the strut/spring assembly out. Use a spring compressor, and compress the spring. (You can rent one from Autozone.) Take the spring out, and replace it with the sleeve/spring combo. Re-assemble.

You may want to cut down some of the bumpstop, to allow a little more suspension travel. Especially if you have them cranked down.

Spring Rates are 391lbs/in front and 335lbs/in rear. I think these would be nice for daily driving. I can't find them any cheaper then about $250.

I found some OBX ones for $155 Shipped anyone ever tried these for a IS300 on your SC300. Gonna put these on with some KYB GR-2's by next week.

s'ok boost, i'd say 90% of the SC forums go the cheap way.

also for those looking into these, consider changing out the oem shocks as i have a feeling they won't last long with these spring/perch combos.

another thing is, what keeps the spring/perch attached to the shock? as far as i can tell, they just slip over the shock and rely on the weight of the car/friction to keep them in place.
