We all know the likely suspects (front LCA"S being one of the extremely common area's)when it comes to odd suspension noises on our SC's.Any/all moving parts and anything rubber will eventually get worn/tired/dried/cracked you name it, causing popping, creaks, groans etc. Some of our SC's are pushing towards close to 20 years old. What is often overlooked is worn SHOCK bushings. (Have you ever checked/changed out those old tired shocks and inspected the said shock rubber bottom mounting bushing where it attaches to the lower control arm?) Another overlooked area is suspension/ frame crossmembers. Have you ever retorqued the suspension/frame crossmember mounting bolts? All frame/suspension/tranny,engine,etc mounting points need/should be checked for proper torque on the mounting bolts. Always a good idea inspecting ALL these areas on old/high mileage cars. This is a great way to spend some time with the car up on jackstands lying on your back on a creeper and getting intimate with the underside of your SC! Have fun/git-er done. BTW, O'Rielly rents free of charge awsome torque wrenches.

usually when you drop the car the sway bar endlinks go bad. depends on rust. but they pop really bad kinda like if you had broken cv boot. i got this clunking noise when i turn my wheel all the way to the right. i think its a steering rack bushings but idk. its really annoying
