The SS is a compromise between stock ride and sporty ride. It's not bouncy, but just a litle stiffer than stock if the dampening level is adjusted to its lowest setting. Also, stock SC bushings will still keep the ride smooth. Someones changed to polymer bushings and complain the ride is too stiff. I vote for the SS.

My buddy recently put the Basic on his SC400 and he said the ride is a little soft for him. He's more into a stiff/firm ride so his opinion might not be the same as yours.

the basics suck. they are way too soft. at least for me.

Well, i thought that just adjusted damping, no? I brought up the question because i just saw a video on jay leno's new e85 corvette and it had a computer controlled air suspension that could do this. Are their any air set-up like this for sc/supra? ArvinMeritor developed the system for his C6RS. http://www.arvinmeritor.com/products...pensionsys.asp

i got megans on mine..and you can adjust it from 0-30. i got my setting on 12 and its basically in the middle..more toward the stiffer side and i love it. its not super stiff but good enough in handling. ive never really tried the softest setting or hardest setting, but its not that hard to adjust them either. very accessible. i ive had mine for about a few months now

Scott have you installed your JIC's yet? how is the ride? I can pick up a used set for 1200? is this a good deal I was planning to order CST's from them but they owner told me he had a set that he used for 3 months but then switched because they were a little too soft for his track use. whats your input?
