I had DF210's with stock shocks on my 2000 GS400 (with 50k Miles). It rode ok, but looked awesome. I switched them out with NF210's and KYB-G2 and I LOVE the way my GS feels now. It rides close to stock and handles better than it ever has. It is not to firm or to light! PERFECT! I still have some drop that closed the gap in the front.
i'm going with the same combo as you - nf210 and kyb shocks ($500 shipped new off ebay). do i have to buy mounts or something like that, right? how much you paid for installation? you got a great deal off eman.

just like noob, i'm trying to get the comfort of stock with a slight drop. nf210 and kyb shocks seems like the move. the tein flex's i'm riding on now are too rough for my back.
