Default ls400 calipers

are ls400 calipers worth $40 dollars for a front set or is that bad. i couldnt find any priceing on the search, what are the plusses of having them vs stock sc300 ones?

LS400 calipers come in 2-piston version 91-94 and 1st gen 4 piston version 95-2000..Which are you referring to?

i can get any year that i need for $40 so i would get 95-00

$40 for 2 ls400 4-piston calipers is a steal. Are you sure he's not talking about pads?? They will provide better braking power in the front, but you can't fit them under stock wheels.

$40 bucks is freakin way too expensive for LS calipers .Please take my advise dont buy them but make sure give me the sellers contact no#..J/k .

High disk meaning the front wheels face should have a high disk to allow more clearance behind the wheel for the caliper to fit. It really depends on the wheel manufacturer.

i read in another thread that i cant use sc rotor is that true and if so what size do i need that will bolt onto the sc. also what all would i need to do the swap??? the cals would come off of ls400 so i would think it would have all the nuts and bolts.

In addition to the 95-00 ls400 calipers, you need the 95-00 rotors and pads. You also need the shorter ls400 caliper bolts or shorten your current sc bolts.
