Are the HAWK pads good for daily driving? Do they eat into the rotors?

I had Stillen pads on my Supra when I had the stock calipers on there and I liked them alot. Low dust and they lasted a pretty good while.

i have hawk hps and they are great pads. they don't eat up your rotors and has very little dust. you can't go wrong with these. i would not recommend the race version because you have to heat these up to work.

anybody know where i can get TRD JZA80 pads? I'm leaning more towards OEM since I hardly ever drive the GS hard but wanted to know how much more it is.

Also, do any of our sponsors sell Project Mu pads? The B-Force series seem attractive.

I thought about getting those but my friend with a RX7 said it's always EBC Green > Hawk. I used to have EBC Green on my OEM calipers but did not like them that much though...

do you like the Hawks?

I would NOT get EBC Greens, I had those on my Supra and they were garbage. Tons of brake dust etc.....If you research all the pads out there the stock Supra TT pads are very hard to beat. Unfortunately Supraforums search is not working but I looked into this within the last couple months and the majority of people there swore by the stock pads.

yeah, I've been lurking around but I do hear that a lot... Some reviews even said they are better than aftermarket. But for street use like my car, it's probably such a marginal gain it wouldn't matter.

My issue with EBC Greens were fading and really soft pedal feel. But now that I think about it, they were dusty too...

so I guess it's Hawk vs OEM...
