Holy effin' Rotora's Batman!
I was driving along the road doing about 45-48 mph and I changed the song on my touchscreen and when I look up I see this goldish colored SUV at a dead stop in front of me. I had been following this cat for a couple miles so it wasnt a complete suprise.
Now... when this happens to us, you can always tell from the first picture your eyes focus on how bad it is that you need to stop. On a scale of 1-5, 5 being stop like a ****, I would say this was at least a 4.
Well, my baby is fine and with over half car to spare. This was the first time I had to use the brakes like that on the GS and let me tell you, the upgrades were well worth it. Rotora slotted rotors, Axxis Deluxe pads, regular DOT3 fluid, and lets not forget the Rotora brake lines.
I have to remember to dig the remote out of the seat.

Brakes!
I concurr! My Rotora's have saved me once or twice as well! This is a mod upgrade that has paid for itself, and then some! This upgrade is also a modification that you will use daily when driving! Rotora BBK is A-Okay!

I forgot to mention that the tires never screeched, no sliding etc.
lol And when I finished stopping, I threw my hands up in celebration and hooted and hollered for a second. I could see the lady's face from her rearview and she looked like she was wondering wtf I was so excited about.
I was more excited for the brakes than the cars successful outcome. Only later did I realize the flipside. lol

Man some people say having a bbk or even a front and rear bbk is overkill or that oem is enough but I am sure that if it weren't for my bbk in a couple instances I would have rearended someone. I was so close one time that I litterally got out with my buddy who was in the car with me to look at how close we were and man we were litterally 6 inches away..

hm..my 00 RX's stock brakes are still able to save me at 67k miles. one time i almost rear ended a cop car cuz he..well, he was infront of me and stopped short. i'd rate my level of needing to stop at a 5, 5 being the most needed. slammed on them and pulled up at about 3 inches from his bike rack.
how much i would've hated to have an imprint of a cop bike in my bumper. after all, i already have the spoke of an A4 outlined in brake dust on my bumper haha.

Lexbox do you have the actual Rotora BBK? Or just their rotors and lines? As I've stated to most people, the stock braking system is more than adequate to slug the car to a stop even in the worse of emergency situations. Only thing is that it won't stop as well on the second or third attempt.
Stock brakes = great for daily and one time emergency stops(at normal sane speeds)
BBK = great for show, racing around the track/autoX, and extremely high speed stops
There are instances where BBK will prevail over stock. The stock brake system tends to give out when trying to slow the car at more than 120mph+. It fades bad enough to where around the 30-40mph range the brakes really have a tough time slowing. From 60-80mph to zero it's no problem at all and works about as good as a BBK. My TT brakes saved my *** one time when I had to slow down HARDCORE from a high speed run...I knew for sure the stock brakes would of done jack for me in that situation.

I've upgraded to Rotora pads & lines, and drilled Brembo discs which is a major improvement for sure. Problem is now 90% of the cars that follow me can't stop as well as I can. Its not stopping we need to worry about. Instead its getting rear ended by some idiot who thinks their car performs like ours.
