Strange fitment with OEM-size brake job

Ok, I'll have the calipers checked. But if the calipers were seizing wouldn't they still apply even pressure against the pad to the rotor just with less pressure? Or is it possible that the pistons are coming out crooked thus making the pads hit the rotor on an angle and not fully contacting the edge?

Beside the calipers can my problem be a two phase problem?
1. The scraping (grinding metal) noise when making right turns only - can it possibly be that the shop could have bent the wear indicator on the one side causing it to rub on the inside of the new rotor?
2. The strange wear on the outer edge - I will have the calipers checked, also could it be that the pads were installed wrong or not seated properly? The breaks feel positive and quiet when breaking at any speed though...still, I know there's something wrong because of this rotor wear.
