yes it will help but not alone. lowering your car will definitely improve handling and adding strut bar would make it better. strut bar alone will not do the trick.

Where did you find a TRD sway bar for an IS250 (I assume)? There was another guy talking about the TRD rear sway bar for the GS350 which supposedly fits the IS350. Can you elaborate more?

I'm just curious if anyone who has the front strut tower bar has actually noticed any difference? I was considering getting one, as I have put them on several cars I've owned over the years with a noticable improvement in steering responsiveness. However, after driving my new IS for the last few weeks, I feel that Lexus did a fairly good job with front chassis/suspension design of our cars, and am not completely convinced that a strut bar is needed. Just my .02

Coilovers and sways will make a big difference in handling. Like others have said, adding a strut bar alone won't really do anything except make your engine bay look nice.

You won't feel the effects of the strut bar with normal everyday driving even with coilovers and sways. Unless you AutoX or make 90 degree turns a lot then you will feel it help with the chassis flex.

Save the money and spend it elsewhere, like two or three tankful of gas.

Rarely do you drive hard enough that the front end of the chassis will flex.

Looks like an awesome back scratcher, or possible fishing pole, or rig it to hang your clothes on. Save the money, having a strut bar can even get in the way of your oil dipstick, some cars with the LMS 2IS strut bar their dipstick gets blocked which becomes an hassle during oil changes...
