Default Worth spending $1300 on TOM'S front/rear brace and lower suspension???

It seems as if nothing is really out there for my IS250 in terms of handling and chasis improvement. I've already lowered my car (eibach) but that only helps so much in handling. I called eibach and they aren't working on anything for the IS250 in terms of sway bars and I noticed that TOM'S has a few products, I was wondering if they were worth it:

TOM'S has a front and rear lower brace as well as a 6-link lower suspension. All this would run about $1300 w/o installation.

Do you guys think it is worth it or just wait it out to see if anything else becomes availabe?

IMHO - A good set of coil-overs is the best money you can spend. Huge difference in handling (I have TEIN SS), and really no need for expensive sway bars and chassis bracing is a joke.

I've added front sub frame contectors to my Maxima, and there was a noticable difference in steering input, and improved handling in the corners. Of course the Maxima suspension was already loose to begin with, and front wheel drive as well which limits cornering potential. So virtually anything added to the that suspension would help.

I've already installed TOM's front and rear suspension brace for my 2IS.
Stability in a high-speed corner is obviously different though I can't feel the difference in a usual driving.

There was a member here on CL from Singapore and said TRD there has sway bars. I called TRD here and they said they dont have anything yet but are looking into it (whatever that means.) Is it possible to ask them to get it from Singapore and if so, you think it will work on US cars???

$1300 is a lot of money for the entire TOM'S kit, I want to make sure its noticible and worth the money.

Honestly shop around. There are plenty of places if youre willing to search that has good pricing. Just be patient cause if you rush into getting parts something always comes out as soon as you buy something.

A 3600 lbs car on street tires isn't going to handle like a 2500 lbs car on race tires no matter how much bracing it has. I personally believe none of the braces will improve handling on street tires, and would actuall degrade it by making the car heavier than it already is. The best way to make the car handle better is to learn better driving skills by attending some driver education events.

That's exactly why I'm considering replacing the Supra with an Exige S.

Sure the Exige S is nibble. It's mere 9.5 pounds/hp puts it in supercar category. But if the race track has some long straights I am sure your current Supra would still out run it. The small 1.8 litre 2ZZ-GE VVTL-i 218 hp and 159 lb-ft of torque engine doesn't have much after you hit 100mph.

Perhaps your planning to mold/extract more power with your knowledge of Toyota engines?

Sway bars(white)... I asked and the distributor confirm that this is for the IS250. It came from Japan.

Sorry to sway off topic, but i think its better than starting another thread regarding TOM'S products. Seems like this is going toward the suspension brace.

Has anyone taken their ADVOX coilovers/dampers? Im searching for new coilovers (Tein and also Zeal) just wondering this is worth the money. Sorry if this might be already related.
