By chance, has someone done the LCA's on their own and is it a pain or not too bad? I was probably going the route of the '97 - up bushings in my 93 as documented in another thread. I've done LCA bushings on a BMW and that was no biggie. Just wondering if its worth paying 3 hrs a side to the mechanic for nuts and bolts work. Thanks in advance for you opinions. By the way, anyone have any spare bushings they would like to sell?

Changing the bushings is a waist of time and effort because you still have an old worn ball joint. The best thing to do is buy the Supra LCA's from Carson Toyota for about $200.00 bucks each and you have a far superior setup. It will then trully be a nuts and bolts install. Changing out the bushings is a P.I.T.A!

Time is money in my book. How much time did you spend? I have read about people taking 4 hours per side to get the job done at home. Also to consider is I believe you have a shop with a lift and all the tools and equipment needed at your fingertips. It will take someone working out of their garage or driveway a lot longer.
The Supra arms are far superior and if you can afford it why skimp and have old ball joints? Not to mention the bushings are far superior in the Supra LCA's than say urethane ones.
No doubt if you are on a budget just swap the bushings.
