Default Spring/Shock question

I have the new Eibach springs and i heard that it is not necessary to get any new shocks. Is this true and why exactly? Im wondering this because my friend who has a 06 Honda accord coupe i-4 needs to install new shocks if he wants springs. What exactly is the difference?

Thanks.

Ill give you one good reason why don't have too, They don't make aftermarket shocks for our cars yet. Unless you want to go with some JDM spec Ohlins which will run you approx. $2500 and these come with springs so the eibachs are rendered useless.

Because the springs on the IS250 are not the same as the ones for your friend's Accord. Different springs designed for cars from different manufacturers. I'm going on almost 2 years on my Eibachs, and have had zero problems.

^^it ain't the springs javy, it's the shocks...ours are fundamentally better suited to aftermarket springs.

You will not impose a problem for the shocks. However, I kinda do wish someone would come out with Adjustable A/M Shocks for our cars! That'd be nice!
