Question DIY for installing springs on 2IS?

Just curious, but is there a DIY for replacing the springs on the 2IS? If not maybe I'll do one when my springs arrive.

Its really easy if you ask me. I installed mines a little different than what Tein recommended but it worked out perfectly. The only part that is hard is when youre compressing the spring, and thats not even hard it just takes a long time.

Can you link me to the instructions that you followed?

I just received my Eibach springs and it mentions cutting the bump stop 10mm in the rear. One question I do have is do I have to wrap the dead coils in anyway to prevent noise as was done in the DIY link above? The eibachs do not come with any type of wrap.

Yeah I'm asking around now to see who all installed some kind of wrap around the coils. I'm thinking that since the coils aren't as close with the Eibachs compared to others that the wrap will be unnecessary.

Only reason why I would is cause I dont want to re-install everything and find out that you need/have to. And it doesnt take long to wrap them IMO

I didn't wrap any of my coils.
