Default core charge

So do the remanufactured TT/LS calipers perform the same? I noticed on the website the picture looks a lot different.

Also, for the core charge do think they'd know the difference between SC400 calipers and LS/TT calipers?

Is there any benefit to buying the REAL LS/TT calipers used compared to these re-manufactured ones for cheap?

Are you comparing TT vs LS or TT/LS rebuilts vs. OEM new?

From what everyone is saying I would say TT performs better on high mph braking. On street use you would not be able to notice the difference.

If your talking about rebuilt calipers vs OEM calipers the OEM would obviously be of better quality because its new but you would not notice any difference.
When you say REAL LS/TT calipers there are no difference between REAL or remanufactured. Remanufactured are OEM calipers rebuilt with new seals and if its a quality rebuilt will come with new pistons.

Didn't want to keep shopping when I'd found a decent deal, also likely wouldn't have gotten any better from this supplier.
I called the rebuilder, and they were acting angry that I had taken them apart; thought I couldn't figure out THEIR parts, Centric Rebuilders it was I believe.

Where was SC300/400 mentioned in the post?

He said he is comparing the TT and the LS. 6lbs vs. 9lbs is is overstated by 50%. Copy and paste from intellexual.com, nice if you'd mention your sourse.
well, here is the source FYI!!!!

It does not matter btw, which car the TT or the LS calipers go on cause the SC & GS are direct bolt on fitments,

That not talked about very often. The extra 2lbs on the LS rotor is rotating mass and certianly an important offset to some of the 6lb. weight advantage on the LS to TT caliper.

Don't know how you figure rotating mass weight to static weight, but its a mutliplier and it's irrelevant.

Great planetsoaer link, TT 4 pot @ 1665 brake horsepower amazing !
