Default l-tuned steering ecu

i haven't been able to find installation instructions for an l-tuned steering ecu. can someone please tell me how or point me to a link that explains how?

The best DIY I recall for the install has been taken down (on super-lexus by our member "LexusRules" Sasha) but I found another with no pics

hi ben, sorry i completely forgot to return your pm. yes, this is the only diy i found when i took mine out couple weeks ago. no pic, but it should still be good enough for you to do the job

hey guys, is it necessary to reset the ecu? from that other install thread above, i wasn't sure if it is required or not, or was just a sidebar.

I don't think so, but it won't hurt anything to do it just in case.

oops i forgot to ask... do i have to disconnect the battery while doing the install?

It's a good idea to do that... and it will also reset the ECU, kill two birds.

in my case, i didn't reset the ecu and did not unplug the battery on both install and uninstall
