Default For the spring-only owners (no coilovers), quick question...

After lowering it w/just springs & getting an alignment, were you guys able to get the camber & toe within oem camber & toe spec range for both front & rear? I was about to buy the Eibach springs but just found out the only alignment adjustment available on the ISX50 is the toe adjustment (no camber adjustments available). If yes, what was your front & rear camber & toe exactly? If you post the specs w/Eibach springs then let me know if it's the IS250 or IS350 springs since the IS250 springs drops it more than the IS350 springs. Thx!

Here's the range:

front: camber (middle) -0.6; tolerace of .8 either direction
rear: camber -1.2; tolerace of .8 either direction
front toe: 0.4; tolerace of 0.08 either direction
rear toe: 0.12; tolerance of 0.08 either direction

You're right about the camber adjustment. My IS was lowered on H&R springs. Front camber is -1.4 and rear camber is -1.3 after the alignment. The tech said there is nothing they can do to adjust it to OEM spec range.

If I remember correctly the drop on the Eibach Springs is very subtle so it affects the camber in the IS very minimally in a sense it is still within oem spec.

We need to get someone in here that knows for sure.

You're barely in the oem range for the front camber & basically in the middle for the rears. I just edited the 1st post, forgot to ask what's your toe front & rear also? Thx!

EDIT: I just went on H&R's website & it says you're drop is 1.4 (front) & 1.3 (rear). The Eibach is only 1.0" (front) & 0.8" (rear) so hopefully w/less of a drop (compared to H&R) I'll be within oem spec range.

Know what? I'm little confused on what you meant by that? I thought all cars camber & toe would be about the same if not close assuming they were lowered on the same springs (example: -1.2 for you & -1.3 for me, etc.). I just edited my 1st post to include the oem range for both the camber & toe if it helps.

Sorry I can't help you any further.

I just remember someone posting with eibach springs that he got an alignment done and the camber was within specs.

I have a set of eibach springs sitting in my garage waiting to be installed but I want to know FOR SURE that I won't get premature tire ware with the springs.

I also remember people have been on eibach springs for 20k+ miles and show no abnormal ware on their tires.

Let me know what you find out.

I'd like to know for sure also before I buy the Eibach's. If we can just get a few Eibach owners to verify then that would be great.

Also, is it true if I have the stock suspension, the drop will be 1.5" instead of 1.0" due to not having the sport suspension? Thx!
