Tein CS stuck valve
So i had my Tein CS and EDFC installed this past weekend and for some reason when i adjust from soft to hard it did not felt that much different. It always felt semi-firm and never soft soft.
So i decided to take the motors off of the shaft, take the allen screw out and use a allen tool to push down onto the valve in the shaft. When i did this the valve felt stuck. After pushing it down and letting it go so it will come back up, couple of times, the valve felt looser than before.
So instead of putting the EDFC motors back on. I decided to put on the adjustment clickers that came on the Teins and put it at the softest setting. I did this by click it clockwise till it stopped and back out, counter, 16 clicks. Drove around and bingo! The suspension felt very soft than before.
So my guess is that when i had initially put on the EDFC motors on and when the EDFC zero'ed itself the valve must had been stuck and that's why my soft to hard setting was almost no different.
So my question is, before i put the EDFC motors back onto the shaft should i...
1. Put 1 drop of silicone oil down the shaft just in case the valve gets stuck again?
or
2. Just leave it since i think it loose and install everything back?.
What do you guys think?
