I'm finally getting a set of coilovers for my IS350 and Tanabe Sustec Pro Five sounds like an excellent choice. I have some questions to be answered before I purchase:

1. If I get the Pro Five without TEAS, how easy will it be to add TEAS to this setup later? Do I need to uninstall the coilovers to add TEAS?

2. TEAS sounds like a high tech and useful addition to these coilovers, but does continuous adjustment (when in active mode) shorten the life of the tubes?

3. How many miles does Tanabe recommend to have these coilovers rebuilt/revalved? At what cost?

4. I did some research and a owner of these coilovers said when he adjusted the damping sometimes they don't even click. I understand that these are designed to be work with TEAS, but does it mean that without TEAS I won't be able to get the most out of them? I love the functions of the TEAS but hate wires/holes/double sided tape inside our beautifully designed cabin.

Thanks for answering my questions!

I'm still debating if I should get the TEAS at the same time of getting the Pro Five.

Nice to hear someone go with a coilover setup other than Tein or JIC. How do you like them? Did you get TEAS? I need some feedbacks. Thanks!

I'm in Palos Verdes, 20 minutes south of LAX International Airport, on the hills of Torrance in case you don't know where PV is.

Just ordered mine! I hope that I made a good decision. I can't wait anymore since I found a set of these discontinued babies, the favorite of my favorites (Racing Hart C4-R)....

Want to put on these coilovers along with my new wheels, hope I'll be satisfied with them!!

wow this has been going on forever...doesnt look like the AWD peeps are getting anything done. Not sure but what about the GS AWD? anyone tried to see if there is anyone making them and if they will work on the IS?? why will these coils not work on the AWD anyway?
