Hows the ride quality of these Tanabe coils?


What makes Tanabe better then Tein cs coils?

I installed my Tanabes two weeks ago and had it set on 6 front and rear (right in the middle), my car feels absolutely like my stock sport suspension, I'm surprised a set of coilovers can be this comfortable. I dialed the front (rear is too hard to get to since the trunk carpet needs to be removed) up to 8 and feel the difference right away. Now I feel a lot more confident taking corners at a higher speed. I think these coilovers are well built w/o any noise issues, I just couldn't be happier with them, plus they're so much cheaper than Tein CS. The next thing for me is to get the TEAS installed so I can control the stiffness from inside my car.

If you ever get a chance to come down to LA, you can take a ride in my car to get a feel.

I e-mailed them today, hoping to get some info after the holiday. They do not list the IS 250 AWD on their FIVE or SEVEN application page, or on the R&D vehicle request page. This is not going well for us AWD'ers...

Tanabe refuses to do something about it, despite all our letters, and outcalls for some help. Give up guy's its not happening.

it's not just them either. i don't think anyone has any interest in making a set for us

not even lexus will develop a sport awd suspension, lol.
if you guys make a coilover system for the awd before the next redesign, lemme know.

why doesn't someone slap on the TeinSS and call it a day???

if I had the AWD I would have given up on this long ago and just tried them out. How much difference can there really be????
