Default Which springs and why?

I'm looking to drop my 06 IS350 about an inch or so...just to fill in the fender gap a bit.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=311426

I don't really want to change the handling/ride much..a bit more feedback through the steering wheel would be nice..but I don't thing thats really a spring issue vs a Lexus philosophy/engineering issue.

So..that being said..which springs would meet my needs best?

Eibach? Tein? Tanabe, H&R?...something else?

I've read that some have cut the bump stops..is this an issue with some springs and not others?

Also, whats a resonable price for theses installed with alignment? $500 reasonable?

Many 2IS owners, have found Eibachs to be a very comfortable spring. Closes wheel gap, improves handling, and gives a moderate drop enough for every day comfort. Personally I can not tell you how they drive, because I'm dropped on Tanabe NF's (the normal feeling springs.) I would too back Tanabe's product, it has served it's purpose well for me.

This is a solution for suspension on a budget, if you look into spending some more $$, since you are RWD, run Coilovers. This way your ride height, and comfort is all adjustable to your liking.

Springs:200$+Install:250$+Alignment:85$=535$?

GL with your decision!

Have you checkout out the Springs and Suspension Forum for the 2IS?

I saw your picutres here, it does look like it has the stock height but closes the wheel gap, don't you think?

I also have the Eibachs in my 250. Slightly stiffer, but still very comfortable.
