No, I will not get the TSIB done. (I'm also just voting because I don't have an IS...)

Hi, I have a '08 2IS and I went to two different dealer in my area to have TSIB done, but both refused to replace my brake pads. My question is, can I purchase the less dust brake pads from the stealership? What are the parts number? Thanks!

When any of you got the TSIB, did the dealership tell you you needed to "glaze" the brakes or do anything to heat them up to match the rotors?

I'm getting my pads replaced, but going with the stock pads (I really like the grabby feel), plus I figure I can always get the dustless pads before my warranty is up for free!

For reference. Here are the part numbers of the original OEM pads and the TSIBed pads:

Just had it done on my 2007 IS250. Smoother, quieter, way less dust. No noticeable performance change, though I do not drive it hard enough that I would notice anyway.
