What kind of brake pads should I get?
I just bought a set of Bradi cross drilled/slotted rotors and I also want to replace the brake pads as well. I currently have the original stock pads with almost 60k miles on them. Any advise on what kind of brake pads I should use with the new rotors?
Thanks for any advise.

I got a price quote of $79/pair for the TRD pads. The person I bought the rotors from recommanded getting Bendix IQ pads, which costs around $32/pair. Are TRD pads really worth the cost difference? I only use the car as a commuter car.
Also, how hard is it to change out the rotors and the pads? I've never change them before but would like to if it's not that hard. If not, I was thinking about taking it to Midas and have them change it for me.
Thanks

If you don't go to track, then stick with stock pads. As we all know, the stock GS stopping distance is already amazing. The aftermarket pads wouldn't really improve as much as you would think, unless you couple them with larger calipers.
Personally speaking, I go to track and the stock pads/rotors aren't good enough (over heated last time). That's why I got the slotted rotors, a balance rotor between race track and daily communt.

Honestly, the GS has the worst braking I've ever had on a car....I have cross drilled rotors/RMM stainless lines/Project Mu pads coming in this week....I'll let you know if the braking is any better......Right now I'm actually scared to brake!

I feel the same.....Amazing how they can publish such low braking rates.....I think its just we are use to a logrithmic braking curve and lexus has a more linear curve.
