Well they agree that this would work however I would be milling off all of the area that I could. So he actually got in touch with a friend of his that works at a chassis shop and they are going to brainstorm some other ideas. I also was thinking about this tonight and ran across a site where you can buy the nylon parts and you can buy the ball studs.

Going to meet with them on Mon/Tues this week and going to discuss the options.I am also still looking at other ball joints. The issue is that on the upper the whole that is there is 32.5mm and the most you can mill out is 38.1mm roughly. However most ball joints (press in or otherwise) are north of 1.9" however this is after a short search of the ball joints. I did find a press in that is 38mm from a Sable that is the proper height but before we get machine happy we are looking at all avenues.

I am starting with the hardest one. By hardest I mean the smallest ball joint needed. In the lowers the ball joints will be larger and easier to find. Did not want to get 80% done and then run into these issue.

I will keep you guys updated. If anyone has any thoughts or know of ball joints that have an outter diameter of 33-35mm please chime in.
