Default Struts or what???

Thanks in advance for any help...I have a 92 SC400 with rear tires 275/35/18...the rims have an offset about 2 inches...on most bumps...slight or otherwise...the rear wheel well is hitting and slightly cutting the outside of the tire...what solution do you recommend?
Are there any struts that will reduce the "travel" of the car to prevent the contact? I prefer not to change the tires.
Thanks, again.

Welcome to the club fellow New Jersian!!

1. Search the site. Wheel fitment is discussed here virtually hourly. Last estimate was over 1 billion threads discussing wheel/tire fitment.

2. Have the fenders rolled.

3. You DO NOT want to reduce the travel of the rear. Doing that is the equivilant of dring a steamroller. ie: no suspension

I agree with mkorsu. Steamrollers are no fun to ride, unless you're squishing something.
