Default For anyone whos installed new LCA bushings...

Hello, I am in the process of changing my front LCA bushings on my 92 SC400. I ordered the complete Prothane F&R control arm kits. I had a hell of a time getting the rear bolt out of the sleeve on the drivers side front LCA. I could not get the passenger side bolt out. Today I took an acetylene torch to the bolt and cut it in 2. The control arm came right out however the sleeve that the bolt goes through is ruined. For the prothane kits you have to re-use the inner sleeves to push through the new bushing. So my question is...

Does anyone who has replaced their factory bushings have one of their old sleeves or old bushings laying around that they would sell me. I would rather not buy a new bushing from the dealer and only use the sleeve. I need the steel sleeve - not the aluminum, one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think you can buy a new bushing from the dealer anyway, you are possibly looking at a new control arm my friend.

My bad, I shouldnt have said dealer. The Carquest here sells the LCA bushings in pairs but they are $175 for 2 bushings. Id rather not have to pay that if I dont have to.

I'm sure someone has some wornout LCAs with some badball joints laying around. I'm sure if you posted up a Want to Buy ad, someone would give you one for the cost of shipping.
