Why do the Tein CS cost more than the Tein SS.....
I know the SS ride a little firmer than the CS, but what are the differences other than springs and valve types? I am very curious.

Super streets are available with pillow ball upper mounts.
There are major differences between the two. A few of them include:
1) mono-tube (CS) vs. twin-tube(SS)
2) anodized bodies(CS) vs. chrome?(SS)
3) rubber upper mounts (CS) vs. pillow ball upper mounts
4) micro speed valving
There may be more of course. These are just off the top of my head.

Tein CS are made of aluminum and are a lot lighter. The CS and the RE and RA models are all aluminum. The HA, Flex and SS are steel body shocks and are heavier than the aluminum body models. IMO, mono tube has more advantages over the twin tube models for street driven applications.
