I just picked them up at the local store and it was 35.99.

I'm not too sure if they are zinc coated, but I think I might just paint the hub part with high temp paint in flat black.

I don't know if it's the case with duralasts, but the oem replacement brembo blanks for the rear rub on a bracket or something on the GS according to other members with them. I wonder if the duralasts have that prob too?

Hey can you go in more detail about this bracket rubbing? I think I might have this problem on the front. My front rotors keeps tapping on the brake pad clips and causing a non-stop clicking noise while I drive. I have been wondering if I should just buy some new brake pad clips?

If you guys are using duralast rotors, what pads are you using? I'll pick these up since you guys are saying they are good.

I bought the Duralast rotors and have been running them for about a month now. I have no complaints about them at all. I am using OEM Toyota pads (Sewell). I also bought a fit kit for the rear since mine was missing one of the pins . I used the orignal shims.

I am an easy driver, so don't know how they would perform under hard driving. There is no noise and the price was right!

Ok Im thinking of using these rotors for my front brakes. I dont really like autozones pads. I was going to go with raybestos or bendix ceramic from advanced auto. I dont really want to goto 2 different places but i will if need be. how good are the advance raybestos rotors. they are 41 dollars i beleive

I love Autozone rotors, but man will they ever rust! God forbid you get any rain in the middle of summer.

I live in Arizona and mine have shown some surface rust too... and I don't even drive in rain! I can clean them off and they look new again. I'm probably going to spray the "hats" with hi-temp silver paint so they look nicer. For the price, I don't think you can beat 'em. Performance wise, they have been great. If needed, I'll just replace them every time I replace my pads!

spend the extra money and get brembo rotors (not even the cross-drilled or slotted ones)

I have no complaints what so ever with the autozone rotors...I just cruise with the car so, but I've heard of them being used for autox. I wouldn't suggest autozone pads tho.

does anybody buy the shim kit and front brake kit. they are like 60 dollars and 50 dollars. That is rediculous. I have never put a shim kit or brake kit on anycar i have done brakes on. I just reused shim kit and never heard of a brake kit.

The brake kit is probably the fitting kit. They're what's holding the pads to the caliper.

In any case, I wouldn't replace the fitting kit unless your calipers are sliding around.

As for the shim kit, just reuse the ones you have. Shims rarely go bad anyways. It's just a piece of metal that goes between the pistons and the pad itself to reduce vibration and noise. Piston + metal backing plate of pad =

thats what i thought, but by sewell lexus it says recommended to change these when doing brake job. propably there way of making money.
