Most car with drop suspension will scrape over speed bump, over dip road, and parking cement.. If you worry about the scrape issue, then dont lower the car..

My car is pretty low and I don't scrape on anything. You have to pretty careless to scrape on parking cement. If you got to the point where you scrape, you pulled waaaaay too far up. If you pull 10-12 inches away from the curn you are still well within the parking space, these are small cars. I don't bottom out over speed bumps either. I drive up to 3 clients in my car at a time and I have to maintain a civil smooth ride. Being aggressively lowered I can still do just that, however I do have Tein CS instead of just coils. But for the sake of the argument I do not scrape anywhere, I just pull out of parking lots semi slow or if I have to go fast do it at an angle.

answering as many questions as possible:

-yes those are hid fogs i installed with a buddy... the kit is an eBay special lol but it works! 6000k (does not match my headlights which are 6000k though; my headlights look more blue than the fogs; lookin to go 3500k bulbs [yellow] for the fogs soon so i can have that sweet contrast of blue headlights and yellow fogs)

-there is no scraping on speedbumps where i live they are pretty standard and low, i do notice its more stiff going over them so i go over them really slow to allow the tires to basically roll smoothly up and over them. ive always driven a lowered car in the past so i didnt have to adjust much of my driving to accomodate.

-i will try and get day time pics soon... perhaps this weekend.

-the kit claims a 1.4" drop in the front and a 1" drop in the back. perfect if you ask me. i feel like it was an even drop all around as the mechanic followed the instructions on cutting the rubber stops etc.

Anyone know if there's any risk in using the Eibach Pro-Kit for the IS250 on an IS350 to achieve a more even drop?

Looks good, now get some wheels and you will be golden. I dropped my GS350 the other night and it feels and looks awesome. Can't wait for my wheels!!!

Oh yeah, I think the difference between the 350 and 250 springs might be due to weight because of the motor in the front. I would think a 350 motor weighs more then the 250... but thats just a guess. At the same time I find it odd because for the 3GS, the GS350, GS300, GS430, and maybe the GS450h use the same springs made by Tanabe.

One last thing, you shouldn't need to adjust or even touch the AFS when lowering the car. My friend has a IS250 and I have a GS350, we never touched the AFS.

yah i think the guy who did the acutal installation for me possibly touched it cause my AFS light is blinking in my car. i still havent looked into it yet.
also, my right passenger headlight now shoots to the sky (not literally straight up, but its wayyyy high)
