Somewhere between $150 and $250 for install is what is about normal. Depends on where you are in the country though. You can get the springs for about $200.

Installation here in SoCal is about $150-250.

If the place is highly reputable and reliable, spending a little extra is worth the peace of mind...

VIS250P, where are you in TX. I think buying you sushi would be cheaper than me taking it the shop. I think 7 eleven has some. We'll just have to sort through and find some that's not expired yet.

see, there you go. find some local guys and start wrenchin. theres a DIY thread this forum. if you had a lift it would be easier. but 4 jack stands work just fine.

the manual might say professional installation preferred but springs install is pretty simple. pretty much unbolt, install and do everything in reverse. just make sure you have a nice torque wrench available.

I bought all the tools I needed from Harbor Freight.

$18.00 Chineese spring compressor

$49.00 aluminum 3000lb "racing" floor jack

$18.00 set x 2 (4ea.) of jack stands 3000lb (only used 2)

Need a big prybar, rubber dead blow mallet, brass drift, flex head 3/4 ratchet, 17mm socket, 19mm socket, 17mm combo wrench, 19mm combo wrench, large screwdriver, 8mm socket, 10mm socket, 14mm socket, extensions, 21mm socket or lug nut wrench.

Do one wheel area at a time, start with the front first, it's easier. Make sure to align the upper strut housing with the main strut body before you tighten the upper housing down on the new spring(s).

Very easy, and you get great tools out of the deal.
