Hello All,
I've been using Front LS400 brakes/rotors and Rear SupraTT brakes/rotors for almost 2 years on my SC300.
The brakes/brake pedal will make noise and shudder/shake when I'm reversing and apply the brakes when the brakes are wet. The noise is quite loud and annoying. This is either after I wash the car or after it rains. This does not happen when the brakes are applied when the car is traveling forward or when the car is dry. I was thinking that there something loose, but I've checked all the bolts.
Has anyone experienced these problems after switching their brakes?
Thanks in advance,
Chuck

are all the pins and shims still intact? What about all the main bolts that hold on the calipers?
I had the spring pop out and I lost the pins on one side, the car made similar noises until I figured out what had happened. I would say take the wheel off and take a look, while your down there retighten all the bolts.

You're bad.![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I agree that it may be the shims, but only making that sound when wet is kinda weird. How much pad material do you have left on the rear brakes?
Maybe its not a brake related issue as you say it only happens in reverse when wet. Does it occur when its dry while in reverse?
