Default Brake pulsing at low speed after strut change

I just replaced the front struts and now when I apply the brakes they feel fine up until the final few feet before complete stop. There is a rapid pulsing that can be heard and felt in the brake pedal. I was very careful not to damage the ABS speed sensors when I removed them. Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks 1995 Sc400

I would say warped rotors, but it would seem too coincidental since this happened after you changed your struts. When you changed them, did you remove the brake caliper at all?

did you take off the rotor too? Because i know that sometimes when you set the rotor down occasionally they can get a little warped (how i do not know). But i had the same problem when i did my bushings, and just to narrow the problem down i just resurfaced the rotors and the problem went away.

-i would say just get them resurfaced, as it costs 15-20 a rotor and see if it fixes the problem

no the rotors were never damaged and were not taken off the car. I think it might have something to do with the speed sensors. It is really a very short pulse (1 second) and it quits and the car moves another couple feet and comes to a full normal stop. But no ABS light coming on

found the problem. There was too much grease in one of the speed sensors. Cleaned it out and everthing was back to normal. Sensor couldn't pick up the magnetic impulse.

Thanks for everyones input.
