arent the tein HA discontinued? so if you found them, they might be reconditioned? tein flex you could get new, right? also, there's the price diff assuming the HA are discont'd vs possibly new Flex.
personally, i'd go with new flex, if i had to choose. but if you incl'd other coilover options, i'd prob choose others. i heard flex are stiff and i'm picky on my spring rate and damper options.
(dont get me wrong, i'm on CS v2 now, and they're nice-just not low enough)

The HA's are discontinued so if you were to get them, they'll most likely be used. If so, I would have to go with a NEW set of Flex.
However, from what I've been told, the HA's and the Flex are almost the same thing. The Flex's were supposed to be the HA replacements (sort of like the second generation).
Correct me if I'm wrong with the info guys.
Go with the Flex if you can get them new.

The flex can go pretty low, and with the addition of the pillowball tops, they will be quieter. I have the HA's but haven't installed them yet. Watch out for seized seat mounts/locks on the HAs. The original ones are no longer available from TeinUSA (maybe in Japan but not sure) for the HAs, but u can get the new ones (the green ones - i think they are from the SS or flex - i have the part number if needed), i had to dremel mine off and get the new versions at $10 eachx2 per strut. that's it for the most part as long as u make sure u get everything that you need. I still need to buy the bolts for the top of the strut since u don't reuse the stock bolt (or so it says in the manual).
Over all, u can go super low with the HAs AND with the FLEX. i would say pick the ones that are in better condition with lower mileage on them and call it a day.
also if u find a set of SS (which I thought were the HA replacements but i guess not) they will drop pretty low as well.
Also, all three can use the EDFC to adjust dampening. I can't wait to get mine on
