Ive done some reading and people liked to compare the SS vs the Flex.
Since these are around the same price when you get the pillow ball mounts for th SS's, which would would allow me to have a softer feeling for DD and less body roll/ really stiff for track? CST, SS or Flex? I found a good price on CST's.

You make it sounds like I have a gun to your head and forcing you to purchase Flex.....
You asked the question so I gave my answer after talking to the Tein Marketing Manager @ SEMA. I thought it was a useful info. Guess not.
It's your money, buy whatever you want with it!

It wasn't supposed to come off bad lol. I was wondering what happens to CST's if they are tracked on?
The way I am looking at it, I will DD the car 99% of the time, but that 1% where I want to track it... Is it worth giving up comfort for a rougher ride?
Im trying to figure that out.
I do appreciate the comment, like I said, it wasn't meant to sound like I was PMSing haha..

I have been contemplating the same thing. Originally I was ready to order the CST's, but more and more people have told me the car will be more fun with the SS. Also, the SS's are a bit more cost-friendly. But, the car is stored for winter at this point so I won't have to decide until the spring...

Bumping this old thread.... i have a question. I have the Tein Flex coils and got an annoying rattle from the rear since day 1.... do the Flex coils come wit the pillow ball mounts? This was ordered as a complete set and installed by someone else, so i have no idea if the setup came with the pillow ball mounts....
i am hoping this is the solution to the annoying issue i have... TIA!

if anybody has any input... please chime in... thanks!

I have CST, if it's your DD 99% of the time, do yourself a favor and get the CST. My cousin has the flex on his S2000, and it's definitely noticeably stiffer than the CST. The advantage of the flex is that you can go lower and better for track, but I went w/ the CST for the comfort Lexus feel of it. Don't bother getting EDFC though, boy was that a waste of money and time imo.

^^^^Romeo291... i know, Flex does have more settings ad they are more stiff. The stiffness doesn't bother me...it's just the annoying tap i get when going over bumps or uneven pavement while driving on a not-so-perfect road... ![Sad](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif)
maybe when somebody is parting out a car i can pick up a rear set of nice coils 1 day. Until then, i guess i will just live with it... it's not the worst thing in the world, i'm just a perfectionist...
