Default Limit to lowering without excessive camber

Does anyone have any idea how low you can go without getting more than 1 degree of negative camber?

I am about to fit a set of Tein CST coilovers and want to lower the car as much as possible without having excessive camber cut my front tires out.

I have had plenty of big lowered cars and more than 1 degree usually chops the inner edge reducing tire life significantly.

I would like tire to guard measurements if at all possible from those without camber kits on lowered springs.

Cheers
Matt.

I have Flex + EDFC on my SC.

I installed the R2 racing camber adjustment bushing kit from MVP along with the control arm bushings. You can go as low as you want with the R2 racing camber adjustment kit.
You spent some $ getting Teins so you should consider getting the bushing kit.

Thanks.

I am also going to go with the Supra TT brake upgrade and the Supra LCA's so perhaps I should also do the camber kit on the upper arms.

Does the camber kit replace all the bushes on the upper arms?

How do you set the bush for initial camber prior to getting an alignment?

How do you find the EDFC? Any pics of it installed?

Cheers
Matt.

Yes. You also need the bushing kit for the low bushings.
By the way, also get the steering wheel bushings while you are at it.

Unfortunately, you have to guess at it according to the user instruction by during the initial installation and then align it.

The motor is top of Coil overs and the controller is located on the side of shifter.
I do not have picture of the EDFC installed because we are in process of painting & interior swap. We are going to relocate it into the low stereo ding after installing the upper deck.

Here is picture of my Z with EDFC. (on left side below the cluster).

Just making to make sure, the R2 racing camber adjustment bushing kit is the one for the supra on MVP Motorsports right?

Thanks Clevercat.

I am getting Supra lower arms so they will have new bushes in them already so I can just get away with doing the top arms as part of the camber kit.

I was looking to do the steering rack bushes and possibly trans and motor mounts as well.

Cheers

Yes.
Have a mechanic change it for you.
It's pain to get them out.

Cool!
You will feel the big difference in riding quality.
Put up some pix once you complete your mod.
Later,
David

Engine/driveline mods are my forte, but I did put on Eibach Pro springs over OEM shocks. I refurbished TT wheels at Wheels America which included sand-blasting, OEM paint, Lexus center caps, and a machined lip finish. Tires are Michelin Pilot PS 2s (235/275).

Anyway, the alignment is still in spec, and the car was lowered about an inch. To me it looks great and drives much better. The ride is nice and firm but not too stiff. It certainly helps transfer the power to the ground, and I couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately, I don't have pics. The car is currently under the knife for some upgraded mods, but it looks agressively stock which was my intent. (No one has a clue it puts down 700+ hp).
