Hey guys, I'm asking because Midas Wants $160 just for the Brakes. If I can tell them, oh, get brakes for a avalon, or something like that, I know it will be cheaper. So, does anyone know if any toyota brakes are interchangable? Thanks

tell them the brakes are for a NA mk4 supra
i dont think you have any brake alternatives unless you go to the dealer and have them cross-reference the p/n to any other model, do it yourself....or do extensive search on CL.
i say do it yourself. its easy as cake
good luck

The first part of your post is misleading and incomplete. You CANNOT just start swapping around other calipers onto your existing SC400 rotors as 5sp is suggesting. You'd have to buy NA MKIV Supra rotors to match NA calipers.
As for your post, "$160 for just the brakes", umm, what does that mean? $160 out the door?, $160 for brake pads?, $160 for calipers. Because $160 is not much money for brake repairs.

y is my comment about brake swapping wrong. if you can cross-reference the p/n from one car to another and somehow the parts are cheaper you can do it because if the p/n is the same then part will be the same too.
FOR EXAMPLE: say the camry caliper p/n was the same as sc300 then you can do it. same for pads. a company will not have two different parts with same p/n. that defeats the whole point of part numbers.
