factory brake with aftermarket rotor

just curious if anyone has does this for their IS350. basically keeping your brake calipers and changing out the rotors with cross drilled or slotted ones. or is it just a waste of time?

I'm just a bit curious if you bothered doing any sort of search at all. There is a thread on page 1 of the suspension and brakes forum that says "Rotors which ones" about this very topic.
