If the car raises just over a bump in a quick manner than its the suspension. Coilovers may be over kill, I'm still learning more about these cars.
If its kind of a wave affect, like idk rubber bouncing ;-p, then i'd believe its the tires.

Just an update: The first few days with the new rack & pinion were great; it felt like a brand new car. As the tires wore more, some of the problems came back. The car is more stable, but still not great. I brought it back in for a few TSIBs and had them check out the steering again (ST001 I think) because, among other things, my car pulls hard left under 80%+ acceleration. The 250 loaner had 17" potenzas and was almost perfect. 225's all the way around and it easily out-handled my car both in grip and stability in all conditions/situations.
They said it was normal, so I'm going to replace the tires ASAP. Updates to follow.
