Default Tein strut bar

I noticed that Tein advertises their strut tower bar as EDFC compatable. If i plan to eventually get Tein coilovers and the EDFC does that mean i need to use the Tein strut bar for everything to work properly. Will other brands work with the EDFC? If so what brands do everyone recomend. I would hate to buy a strut bar then have to replace it later because of bad planning. Thanks 4 the help.

You don't need to use the strut bar but if you are going with tein coilovers and edfc, why suffer? The only two bars that I know off the top of my head are carson tuned and the dsr strut tower bar. The dsr is discountinued but I believe I saw one in the classifieds some weeks ago. I am sure if you go with the tein strut bar, you won't be disappointed. Plenty of members have it and I have never heard a complaint. It is a solid quality piece, looks great, and for a very good price. Can't go wrong for $135.

I have the Tein bar front and back bought off ebay for 115 a piece. Can't beat it. I think the RMM bar would work as well. Here's pic of the Tein:

Many bars will work u just have to make sure they will clear the motors. I'm running the Tein bar in the front and a rear bar from ebay made by TCS.. The TCS package is a good bar and the price is right.. I think you can get both bars from ebay for 115.00.. GL..

RMM bar fits. You can see here that the STB bracket has plenty of clearance for the EDFC motor.

The design on other brands such as TOM's, there is no clearance for the motor at all.

Quick question, what are those purple wires running from your SRT Intake? I don't think I have anything connected to my intake there ...

Options Auto sells them. The picture on the site looks different from the bar ppl have here. It says its a new design but it is compatable with EDFC,
