So is this similar to what you can create using the parts from Universal Air?

I like it. It's like the Top Secret Ruberuta Cup kit. Definitely made for performance as well.

Some may want to slam the car for show and air up for daily driving, the others may do the opposite.

You can adjust the coilover for daily or sport drivability and only air up when you need to get up the ramps, bumps, etc. if you look at it another way. Hence the coilover.

Looks to be the same concept

http://www.topsecretjpn.com/roberuta.shtml

here are pics of the TS set:

Roberuta has enlisted us as one of the few companies to carry their unique products. Roberuta is famous from their Ferrari products in Japan. Roberuta Cup Kits are an electronically controlled height adjustable system that fits directly on top of your coilover. They are NOT hydraulics or airbags. They do NOT suffer from the same limitations and performance reducing issues as hydraulic systems or air bags. We use the complete system on several of our competition vehicles.

Imagine being able to raise or lower your vehicle's ride height at the touch of a button. Steep driveways, flatbed tow trucks, and jacking up your vehicle with a standard jack all become effortless. Lowering your vehicle to the absolute maximum for your next car show is possible without readjusting your coilover at the show. Life becomes simpler and you can spend more time enjoying your vehicle.

Cup Kits will fit coilovers made by

Top Secret, Aragosta, HKS, Cusco, Kei Office, Quantum, Tanabe, Bilstein, Ohlins, Tein
I for 1 am all for this technology

Ah good deal

that compressor "control" box unit seems a tab bulky for the IS's trunk space

Wonder if there is a way to "hide" it

Or possibly polish the bottle, and make it more "show" friendly

That's a picture of the Skipper kit... in the pics Carson posted, everything is together in a box. Not sure how big the box is but it looks like it'll fit fine in the trunk of a 2IS without taking up too much space.

Yea, and I'm sure it doesn't NEED to be in the box. You can probably mount it how ever and do it up all nice and pretty if you wanted. The box just makes it a lot more simple from what I can tell.

Guys, the GB will be up today for this setup. I promise you it will be no where near the price you see for just the "cups kit" . It will be a great price for the ENTIRE kit. So please keep an eye on the vendors section today as it will be up.
