My Tein CST's and Supra LCA's arrived a few days ago.

This weekends mission is to get them all setup. Front arms and coilovers are in, the rears are still to be done.

I have removed the existing LCA's and put them side by side for comparison.

My arms have some aftermarket nolathane bushes which were causing it to ride quite hard.

As you can see in the pics the Supra LCA's are identical to the Lexus LCA's - I don't have the factory bushes so can't comment on those.

I set the coilovers to about a 1in lower height than stock to start with. There is only about 10mm more of adjustment left in the coilovers though and I could easily go another inch lower, there is about two fingers gap at the moment.

The new front setup rides MUCH nicer than the old setup.

If anyone has Nolathane bushes that were on the car when you got them then probably the biggest change in ride quality you could make would be to fit the stock factory bushes.

There doesn't appear to be much difference in handling quality between the new factory shocks and the Nolathanes, fitting the Tein CST's and fitting the factory bushes has made the handling better and nicer.

Again, if anyone is looking to lower a bit and get some ride quality back the Tein CST's are great.

If you want to go mega low then these aren't the coilovers for you. I can probably get it down to about 1 finger gap.

For the price and quality they are pretty hard to beat.

I have the same setup and just installed the supra arms as well. The supra arms are not as quiet/comfy as stock, but give condfidence to the front-end. Being half the price as oem Lexus arms don't hurt either.

How low were you able to get your Tein CST's to go? Do you have any pics of the car?

Haven't set it to its lowest setting yet. I had it set to a 2 finger gap all around for daily driving without having to worry about dips and such. I had about little bit less than 1 finger gap all around on my previous supra swifts/bilstein setup. I'm using mkiv supra na wheels and will probably drop it more once I get some bigger wheels. Sorry have not taken pics of it after the drop.

what's the difference between the cs and the cst's? how is the ride with the cst, please be more descriptive rather than "they are great" or the handling is "fabulous".

I am getting the new rims and tires and an alignment done at the moment.

I have also fitted the Supra TT brake upgrade and done the LCA's as well as the CST's including removing the nolathane bushes that had been put in.

So for me the change will be quite massive all over. I haven't driven it really since I fitted the CST's and the LCA's but the big difference was really in the removal of the nolathane bushes as they are as stiff and hard as and really transmit a lot of vibration!

Will update this thread when I get to do a bit of a road test in about 5 days time.
